- hi. i'm katie mae. i am happily married to my adorable med student husband who is so much fun. i love photography and interior design. as well as thrift store finds and retro kitchens. i dream of a day when i can put all of these loves to use. i like making aprons but i don't like cooking. i have 6 of my grandmothers framed prints in my apartment but i love modern pieces. i consistently miss england. my favorite color is currently pink. my mom is my hero. oh and i like writing in lowercase, but that seems to be obvious.

Hi Katie,
I happened upon your blog -- using the NEXT BLOG feature. You are a very talented photographer! We had just been to London last year and stayed at the Hilton Hotel at Trafalgar Square. Your first photo (or is it a painting?) is amazing.
I love the way you tip your photos. I studied film years ago and we learned that photos that are tipped give an energy or tension to the shot.
We have been to Brighton, England, but not to Bristol; but all the photos of the countryside seem very beautiful. Especially the bicycles. You see beauty in small things and obviously know how to use your camera well.
My husband does the photography in our family. If you visit my site, and scroll down, you can take a quick trip to Las Vegas. He puts all of his photos up at webshots.com -- and there are quite a group by now!
